What a baffoon! I've got of fix that will save 40-50% right away! Stop building the fuckin EVs that no one wants in the first place. Go back to 100% ICE or at maximum some Hybrids. That will save 4-50% right off the bat.
Second note was he brought up parts costs being a huge issue and not wages! The wages are actually a pretty small percentage of the costs to build a vehicle, granted it's a fair amount for sure but not as big of a part of the cost as they bitch about! My issue here is that they are going to try to kill wages or number of jobs to make up for some of that 40-50% that they won't be able to cut through suppliers extortion!

Theg were raising those prices whether we got raises or not! Look at what they did since they took over the previous two years! Wages did not add $5k to each vehicle, corporate greed did, just like why a $60k HC is now $90k

It's a slippery slope...quality ALWAYS suffers when contracts for components are awarded to the lowest bidder...not very reassuring when you realize all the parts of your new EV...are the cheapest parts the motor companies can buy....kinda like Harbor Freight tools...
