Michigan is kind enough to allow Ontario Canada ( Toronto ) to dump garbage in the state for a fee

Apparently this fee is low enough for Canada to haul the shit from 1 country to another and high enough for MI to take it
We are trying to reduce our carbon footprint here by trekking millions of tons of garbage hundreds of miles using eco friendly diesel tractor trailers
This has been going on years now

Yup! Landfills suck ass for the most part.
Look up Jeep Toledo assembly complex on your map just north of I280 and I75 interchange and go directly to the right and that is our local dump!! Not nearly the size of yours but damn that thing stinks in the morning especially or a hot summer day!!
