What part would you not agree with
I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing, just sharing

Clearly, more power is made on our cars with pulleys.

His point (I think) is that they continually become less and less efficient and at some point literally go backwards.

I suspect that probably coincides with overspeeding in our case, given the history of ruptured s/c cases we've seen

Back in the mid 80's...a few of us were heavily involved in supercharged jet boats with berkly jet drives..jet boat manufacturers powerplant of choice was the 460 ford engine...Gale Banks offered a pretty sophisticated twin turbo system for marine use...made huge power...(and bullet proof reliability)...3 of us ran his kits...he's been @ forced induction a long time...an innovator that knows his stuff

That was good stuff which is why I steer everyone to the Magnuson when running 83 octane. It simply runs more effecient than the Whipple therefore it doesnt get as hot and lose as much power. Thats dude is terribly knowledgeable!

Man, I really hope Magnuson hasnt left the Supercharger world but it seems they have sincle they havnt made anything in 5 fukn years now or maybe thats some serious R&D idn..... but of they ever do come out with the 3100 or whatever they will call it im buying one!

Banks was an innovator back in the day without the aid of diagnostic computers...none of the technology we have today existed...interacted with him for a couple of seasons...the man knows his stuff...(y)

Everything starts to get diminishing returns, at some point. I think it was in the 400's CID range, that V8, NA, were the most efficient for drag racing engines. Power adders are limited by their size, also.

Not any specific brand of engine. Just the basic cubic-inches, depending on bore, stroke, rod ratios, and other optimal geometry and air-flow.
It was stuff I had read, ages ago.

Magnuson released their 2650 for the 5.7 and 6.4 about 9 months ago, so they are giving the Mopar community some love. The 3100 version will be wild.
