We're going to Carlisle Saturday for the first time in four years. Mostly because of the winding down of the modern muscle era from Dodge. I'm old enough that my first Mopar after discharge from the Army in 1967 was 1968 Dart 218 four speed. Next was a 1969 Dart Swinger 340 four speed followed by a 1969 383 Dart automatic that ran consistent mid 13's. The came a 1970 Challenger R/T with a 440 six pack and a four speed with 410's that ran a best 12.28. All ordered new from a Dodge dealer in Pa.
We'll be parked in Y432. 2021 Challenger Widebody HC sinamon stick with tangerine leather interior.

I've been twice. I displayed in the "T" building, both times. The mopar event is always when it's a 1000 degrees and 1000% HUMIDITY. We stayed in the display building, both weekends. I would suppose, if it's not like Hades...it's raining.

So I was just watching the last few hours of Mecum Indy on my DVR as it starts to record the new Kissimmee shows and saw these both sell back to back! These are both 440+6 4 speed cars!!!! Winning bids around 100k means it’s not in your garage until you spend $120k, but I would say that is about half of what they would have sold for just 5-10 years ago. They were both quality cars. Where’s my checkbook…
