I ran a bike YEARS ago when the ECTA hosted the Maxton Mile and it was rough AF, which is that much more unsettling in a bike versus 4-wheels. It was a WWII era glider training area and even after all the work they put in it was a little more sketchy than I care for. It was hosted there from ‘96-‘11.

I’d be curious what how the “new” track is, but wouldn’t make the trip. We have a local standing 1/2 mile event a couple of times a year (next one should be in October) and the entire runway was recently completely redone and was like glass.
