Yeah, they rolled about 200 miles on it & it was low on gas when I surrendered it. Clearly, no one has put any gas in it since mid Feb :oops:
Not sure why but they drove it from Brooksville to Clearwater on 4/8. Apparently it sat in B'ville from 2/15 - 4/8. The CLW dealer did some sort of emissions check/work (no clue why they didn't have the B'ville dealer do it ??). Then they drove it to the auction place & it sat from 4/11 till now.

All very weird, but my Mustang also took a weird route from Tampa to Lauderdale (where there were several repair attempts + they stripped off many of the mods done by the Tampa dealer) to some strange Ford 'dealer' in GA that seemed to only be offering buyback & internal fleet cars on their lot.

When the cadillac was lemon lawed I took the check and could care less what happened to that death trap.

Just curious about the process & where these cars end up. The Mustang was the real pisser, I had invested a lot of time picking out all the upgrades/colors etc. only to have it be a total POS from day 1.


I get that he is very disappointed. Buying cars today really sucks.
That's for sure, used to be fun car shopping but not anymore.

Everything happens for a reason.

All of the bullshit last year with the 23 Charger and the F150 coyote orders.

I'm now glad that they didn't work out since we've had to close the business and go into retirement.

My late 21 Dd r/t has some alignment and paint issues. Had something weird with the emergency braking happen. That is now turned off. Other than that it’s been flawless and everything else is working as it should

What happened to your AEB? I actually wish it was more reactive.

I have it set to "Far" and its detection alerts seem sluggish or non existent. The Explorer ST I had alerted with much greater frequency.

Also, when you turn off AEB the PEB automatically turns "Off" and that is something I definitely want "On".

So you mean it was going off when it wasn't supposed to.

My observations are that it doesn't seem to activate enough.

I would avoid the "Scat Pack" Durango like the plague.... The Hellcat Durango now that sounds dope. Some Mope from the Ghetto will buy this junk and slap Hellcat emblems on it smfh.

Huh? The 392/A8 is a pretty potent and solid combo. Not a Hellcat, but few things are! My Scat Pack Challenger was a great performer.

What is wrong with a 392 durango? Its on my scope for my jeep replacement

Thanks but I'm done with Dodge, local dealers all suck and I'm not going to slog 90 miles to Tampa for repairs.
Will keep the Hellcat at least for now since it's out of warranty, but tinkering with dumping it as well.

BTW the WI dealer that bought my DDSRT at auction still has it sitting on their lot (4 months now) @ $56k. From the pics the visible defects remain & there are no service records, so it still needs a bunch of work done to it - typical dealer crap !!

There's a reason my vehicles aren't subjected to dealer service. Okay, several reasons.

On mine the hood and rear spoiler needed adjustments, which I did myself. If there was anything else wrong with it I don't know, only having driven it on and off the trailer twice.

Either way, I'm so happy with my used V6 GT Plus Durango that the new Hellcat one nearby doesn't interest me at all.
