Because it literally shifts even shorter than I do. I'm not a saint but I can usually at least carry it out somewhere over 6000

I was faster at 131 but not by much. I think the prep was easily equivalent at my level and plenty of cars beat their 131 times today as well.

A lot of the faster cars starting off at Milan were loose or spinning. May have been cooler when they started there then 131 but neither had sun on the track at the start. The kid that does the prep at 131 is hired all over the country to do prep at different races. From what I saw 131 was hooking from the start where the rest were not as good to start

Nice thing for most of us is we don't need the prep the real fast cars do. I have run high 10s on 20" nittos

Somehow we picked up 1 spot on day 4.

We're now sitting in 5th place starting Day 5. We run first at 10am (Top 40 in SME) so we can finalize the bracket for the afternoon.

I have a 2.69 in metro pattern I’d bring it in a heart beat if I was in the area

I just actually checked the logs real quick and it's making right at 16-16.5 peak.

Also got 2000rpm to hold testing in the pits. 2100 is like 90% there. 1900 is what I've been leaving at.

Regardless of what happens from here on out I have officially completed hot rod drag week 2024. With an overall average of 10.2296 at 137.278 mph. Four tracks in 5 days and almost 900 Mi of Street driving and this car has been practically dead nuts all week.

They are going to run a and b classes now and then C-Class. Then the first round of the stick shift shootout and then the first round of eliminations for Street Machine Eliminator. I should hold on to my number five seed all things being equal.

My first pass was a 10.22 at 137 so I went back around and set launch control at 2100 which held and the 60 ft improved slightly but the car tapered off to a 10.25 at 136 and change. I will likely dial it back and just run it as-is.
