That sucks Whip, but you know it could have been a lot worse. Hopefully your wife isn’t shaken up too bad, I think it’s sweet that she is willing to give it some gas and have some fun, the back of the car is a small price to pay to have a cool chick.

I don’t know that HCs have that fuel cut off like Fords, never found one myself, so if it doesn’t have fuel pressure it’s probably lack of demand from the ECU because of the codes.

it was called an inertia switch an the hellcat does not have one. even ford stopped using them.

Little About the wifey. She’s cool as shit with cars. And she loves my hellcat. I was in the shower when she wrecked it. I answered and she was balling like a baby saying she crashed it. She was losing it. All I made she she was ok. Rest doesn’t matter. Fuckin car is all it is. I got allot of blood and sweat in it, but I’ll deal with it.

the hurting over the car didn’t hit me till a few days after. Sucks having it out of commission. The projects never end!

when it comes to the wife, she knows all my crazy hobbies. I’ve shown up with a full auto 50 cal ma deuce strapped to the bed of my truck, and she didn’t even ask how much I paid. Didn’t give a shit.

only rule that I follow is no motorcycles. Dirt bikes ok. But no motorcycles. I’ve lost two good friends on bikes. So I say no. Other than that. Everything goes for me. Send it.

Oh...Jack my poor miss guided fellow WNYer...pull up a chair ...and lend me yer ear...My wife doesn't hate my cars..(she just likes hers better C8.. Genisis)..sure she takes issue with the way I drive them...(she's entitled to her opinion)...I just ignore it.she still enjoys spirited driving...but @ 70 her burnout days are over...(though her C8 see's occasional trips to triple digits)...Now it's well known I'm anal bout my stuff...NOBODY gets to wreck em...cause NOBODY gets to drive em...and in our house that works..So fixin a HC aint gonna happen...and the wife..hell Jack ..she dont need fixin...It took me 35 yrs. to mold her into what I wanted her to be...yeah that's right 35 yrs...now she's almost perfect....( I say almost cause she still cant cook worth a fuck) and has been the past 15 yrs..I buy what I want..I do whatever I want..I go where ever I want...(and more often than not she goes with me...)...but make no mistake Jack...if for some reason she took one of my cars...and wrecked it doin a burnout...there would be a serious...SERIOUS..come to Jesus meeting in our house...ya see we got rules here
