Should have the car back on Mon-Tues. Then on Thursday take it to the body shop to get the front bumper resprayed.

3600ish out of pocket to repair this. Ridiculous.

Yes, but money is just money. What if it had been an electrical / software gremlin that you would chase after for years? Or something like that. Sometimes, have to try and look on the bright side.

Were they able to repair the wires, or did they have the replace the entire headlamp to dash harness? Looks like the rate popped that grommet out, which goes behind your dash. Rat nest in the dash?

I told him to replace the headlight to harness dash. Im not going to take a chance on something going wrong with a repair of the harness.

No nest thankfully.

Construction is done and Im in a different section in the garage by itself.

So hopefully no issues.

Like I said, been parking there 10 years with no problem.
