well crap hellno...let me see if Dusterhoff has placed the order for the tires. Will change to 315 then.

Next question: Best drag tire....ET Street R or maybe slicks or something else in the MT arsenal?

Most chargers don't need wheel well work for a 315 on a 20" wheel but defeats the purpose.

The taller drag tires may need minor work...but nothing like the V where I had to pound the inner fender and run a spacer for 345's on a 18.

Going with a 315 on a 17 wheel and hope to have minor work. But never thought of a 345 on 17" wheels...man I need to stop reading this forum. LOL! You guys are dangerous to my wallet.

Which tire would you select in MT ET Street R:

315/35R17
26X12.50R17

or

P315/50R17
30X13.50R17

P315/50r17 it’s the best you can do before going to a 15 inch conversion

@Dman007 remember that when you install the new wheels to tie the wires going to the rear shock out from the tire it will rub thru it and cause the suspension to go into fault mode usually happens on driver side rear

Good point and we have Allpar Garage assembling the wheels/tires. They have to do some tire well work to fit the 315 and I will ask them about the wires and inspect.

Anyone have 315 on their Chargers?

Do you require a spacer? If yes; do you drag race with spacers?

I have 305's but once that's used up I'll get 315s. Our chargers should be able to accommodate a 315 tire without modifications like the Challengers.

I don't believe it's safe to be running spacers on the drag strip but others can chime in if they've done it.

Appreciate it, and I understand...the Challengers have more room than Chargers.

Anyone have a Charger that already has 315s on and drag race?

To complicate this subject more...was thinking about going with a 315/50r17. What are your thoughts and appreciate your feedback?

You got that backwards.

Widebody aside...charger has more room than challenger.
