Waiting on some pics of the rear/ladder bar from under the car. It’s complete and the drive line is finished. Dual chute anchor is in place. It’s rolling on the wheels now. Fuel cell and rear vented catch tank are being mounted and fuel system being put in place. The new carbon fiber deck and wing will cover it up and…... finished 👊. Latest pictures I have with more soon.

Car’s back in Utah for the new motor and some finish-up work. Need to complete the new fuel system for Methanol and some additional electrical. I finally get to get back to hands-on 🤗 Florida sure is nice. The drive back and forth… sucks

So…what’s up you ask. Is that thing ever going to run? Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it but yes… progress is being made. Back home from Florida with its beautiful Redeye Racecars Rear and now… it’s in California getting some additional work on the cage, including a fresh 7.50 cert. I could have had Redeye Racecars do that but Carlin Fabrication did the cage and they get credit for it, so nobody else can work on it. While there, we will be fabricating a unique dual chute setup that is going to be different than what’s common. They will look like they’re floating 😳. So in the mean time…. I finally got my ice box and been getting it ready to install. A 5 gallon PNR with my old DC pump. It’s mounted on a PLM seat base (same as my drivers seat) and will ride shotgun with the hoses passing through the firewall. The other thing I picked up recently is a new harmonic damper. ATI as before but without the supercharger pulley and with a 15% underdrive alternator pulley. Saves 5 lbs off the weight of the supercharger version I’ve been running. Pics… 😎

That underdrive is worth its weight in gold for a turbo car. That’s also a serious ice box! Awesome setup.

So….. engine assembly and getting this thing running is at the forefront. When we started collecting the parts and pieces to make it happen, the best of the best was selected. That’s been going on for two years now. The block wasn’t a choice at that time so we put a bunch of work into an early 6.2 BGE. Now the Dart is out and getting good reviews. We had access to one of the 6.1 based Darts and it’s impressive to say the least. So the decision was made to see if we could go with that. Nope. Deck isn’t going to work with what we’ve got. It’s going to require the 6.2. Sometime in April “maybe” 😕. Damn it!!! I was having a conversation with Geoff Turk at Blackbird a couple weeks ago about purchasing some stuff from them (I am). They are advancing the Gen 3 Hemi performance world with some really nice race products. He suggested going with the new Callies built aluminum Hellephant block. I told Adam what he said…. so he contacted his insider at Callies to get the specs and see if that might be the real deal for where we’re going. Apparently there was only one available in the world. Lol. Its on the truck to Utah.
