Today I tested out my dragy with my current tire and wheel setup (Goodyear All Season 275/40/20r). I ended up getting a 13.5s 1/4 because the hard all seasons didn’t have any grip. I used setting 2 on RaceTCS and ran again, this time getting a 12.3 second 1/4 mile. It’s obvious the RaceTCS helped me maintain traction. I ordered new summer tires for the rear to see wha times I can get.
***the slower run was invalid because of the slope. I was impressed how the slower time had the slope advantage, yet was still much slower. More testing!!!

Last season at the dragway a young guy with a std HCNB A8 with AS's did 11.8!!! He said he started in 2nd, I have no idea how to do that. Also, it was an older one, they are faster.

From what I can tell EricG didn't do anything to his 'Cat today...but he's lusting for a V8 Pacer.

Unboxed my newest part.....did not disappoint either

Blackbird Performance valve covers in black with logo were available and shipped to me in 3 days

Already put their tensioner on and it looks fantastic against the Litens bracket

Just a matter of time before it gets changed over. Made the firm choice to go ahead and have my AFR heads installed in July, that with the valve covers, new pushrods will be enough for me I think

82,000 plus miles at this point and still enjoying it

all indications point that way, have a desire to add some additional stronger parts into the car immediately after I window the block....:p

the conversation will go like this....."but honey it is not supposed to make that noise so I need a new air cleaner"......insert new block, cam and internals

I had genuinely planned to get a new long block and transmission setup I put these on, but plans change as we all know.......obviously no one wanted to save money and wait time on getting them right away when I listed them for sale, and they do me zero benefit on the shelf

So, I have to know, and I HOPE this doesn't turn into another thread hijack, do you let your car warm up a bit on cold mornings, or do you start and drive off? I'm asking for a friend. (Be cool Jimmy! :))

I thought you knew, 2ndAmend.

Half of those miles are achieved by idling the car in gear on jack stands.

It does. Otherwise the jack stands would be unnecessary.
