Yes, Noonan makes it, TKM has exclusive rights to sell it so it and build it. No one can source that other than TKM. For most bro a 244 lb block is crazy heavy compared to an aluminum. 120 lbs off the front end is HUGE! Thats a tenth.

U keep saying the Aluminum block wont hold much power do u have any experience with this or is that just what one shop told u? I have yet to see anyone try to make any big hp with an Aluminum block so how do u know how much power they can handle?

FYI for everyone:

Demon Performance collaborated with Noonan to develop their own version of the billet aluminum Gen3 Hemi block. This is not a TKM block. Instead, Noonan and Demon Performance partnered and invested in the R&D and manufacturing of their Gen3 Hemi block.

Demon Performance has an exclusive partnership with TKM to build these Noonan blocks specifically for their customers.

Then there is Visner which creates their version of the billet aluminum and will sell to any engine builder to build their customer's engines.

Have you ever talked to Skip at Demon Performance or Darryl at Noonan? Were are you getting your facts from? The $10K Dart Block website? Can you post the link of where you saw Dart Gen3 Hemi blocks selling for $10k?

As far as "TKM has exclusive rights to sell it so it and build it. No one can source that other than TKM. ":
  1. It is Demon Performance R&D (funded) and Noonan makes the blocks
  2. Demon Performance has selling rights for so many years before Noonan can sell them exclusively
  3. TKM is the engine builder for Demon Performance for these blocks and that's all
  4. TKM can NOT sell these blocks to anyone except if Skip at Demon Performance allows it
  5. Thus we buy the blocks from Demon Performance and TKM builds them as their partnership with Demon Performance
  6. End of Story, these are the facts

I said CAST Aluminum blocks (Callies) can not hold over 2k HP.

Not Noonan or Visner BILLET Aluminum blocks.

Have you ever been to a track where Rob Goss is running a BILLET Aluminum Visner block or talked to Josh at HHP that partners with Rob Goss?
Robb G. makes a ton of power with the Visner BILLET block. But not my right to talk about his build or his power numbers. Any smart person can watch him run LDR and guess his curb weight and then calculate the amount of power.

Talking to owners of these companies and being at the track learning will make us all smarted about this platform.

As far as losing 120 lbs will gain a tenth. Agreed, but once our heavy cars hit the 7's and getting closer to 6's...start reducing more and more weight to get a tenth off.
This calculator will show how much weigh to reduce to get a tenth off your ET: http://wallaceracing.com/et-hp-mph.php

^^Skip at Demon is the man. He did me a solid back in the day and I’ll always owe him one.

Update on the Charger Hellcat:
  • Charger is not hurt nor totaled, just some minor damage
  • Stock cradle...destroyed, but we were replacing it anyway with a light weight custom cradle from Prestige Fabrication
  • We bent up the turbo piping, which needed to be replaced and was on our list to replace...because of the poor quality
  • Bent the Aeromotive fuel pump bracket...easy fix and Aeromotive shipping us a new one
  • Daily Engineering oil pan, broke a fin off and Prestige Fabrication will weld it back up...it's aluminum
  • Bent the bottom of the fuel tank...Prestige Fabrication will fix that easily
  • Bent several braided lines going to the waste gates...needs to be replaced by Nicolas performance
  • Front bumper is 99% destroyed and we needed a new one because the old one was beat up pretty bad from the past 6 years racing

Turbo did not get hurt and no sand in the intake nor engine...thank god!
Really not bad at all with running off the track at 127 mph and launching 45 yards in a strawberry field. LOL!
We had a tow hook bolted the cradle and when the car went off the track, there is a big dip and the tow hook stuck in the group and launched the car...yes like Dukes of Hazard

When the cradle bent, it bent the fuel pump bracket, thus shutting off the engine. Another blessing.

This is the time to correct the issues we've been fighting:

  • Turbo placement and face the turbos down the track like all cars should (not facing each other)
  • Remove the oil filter from the cradle, going with a clear view in the engine bay
  • Going to reduce some of the chassis weight and stop running the car soooo dang heavy. More updates in the following weeks. We're still strategizing what to do. But we are NOT front nor back half-ing the car. Still running in streetcar classes.
  • Cutting the rear tire well out...don't need all that weight and relocating the battery.
