St. Thomas is our worst track . I have not been to grand bend yet..... But will be there Sept. 22. TMP is ok but they are not very accommodating to street cars in my experience. They always push aside any time I was there .

Almost every track has its own special character. While St. Thomas may be in need of a little love, I always had great experiences there and the recently deceased owner, Jay, Morse, was always a blast to be around. Incidentally, I made the fastest stock boost hellcat pass ever (9.89) at that track last year in the blue car. A benchmark that still stands today. That track and the time spent racing there will always be memorable.

There are 5 within a 2 hr drive from my place.
But Napierville is the best of them. I ran my first 10 sec pass there on 20in Nitto's on a no prep tnt night.
I missed out last weekend. On Sunday da was around 500 most of the day at Napierville. Couldn't make it out.😥
Hopefully the weather will be similar this weekend. Monday's a holiday and the track will be test only👍.

I grew up at Cayuga and we have lots of great memories watching and racing there. Grand Bend is nice, but always seemed out of the way. And I was banned from St. Thomas by the previous owners.

Luskville is only geographically convenient (an hour from my front door) and Napierville is the best track I have ever raced on.

Back in the early 2000s I had a grudge race at Milan - so travelling and racing was never a big deal in my 20s. Now, I am just a big wussy (despite being a Drag Week participant).

I actually thought about moving it when I realized we were together in the posts. Does it help if we divulge that
I had to use skinnies and no sway bar to run a slower 10.55 the same day you ran your time.
The difference is your car will get quicker in time. I dont think there is much room for improvement with my setup.

Certainly no shame on your end. Your first time out with a new car and you are running as fast as most.
