P.S. That Daytona was at the body shop brand new off the trailer for scuff marks all on the right side and roof that were really deep in the clear coat. Paint damage brand new.

The buyer will not ever know unless he finds them after the fact, then will probably fight tooth and nail for further correction.

I was curious to how it happened. when I saw the highlighted areas I thought it was vandalized. But you could see something rubbed or dragged across it. They don't strapp'm down do they? Plastic wrap was still on the roof!

Repaired the front belly pan and brake ducts. Hit a curb and broke the front belly pan and some of the plastic rivets that hold on the brake duct. Ended up with a "passable" repair and saved $330 for a new belly pan (which I would also probably break) so thought I'd pass along some pictures and tips. Replacement rivets are PN6500911 - 1/4 in black nylon (pictured) and I got 50 on ebay for $10.50. You will need a special riveter. The usual pop-rivet ones won't work. You can get a plastic riveter from Harbor Freight (pictured) for about $18.00. I also needed a plastic welder (pictured) that also came from Harbor Freight for about $20.00. The riveting is easy and the repair was quick. The plastic had bent in some places and you could see white stress lines. A heat-gun warmed the plastic and bending it back into shape made these marks disappear. Welding the crack closed was a little more challenging. What worked best for me (after trial and error) was to apply some plastic, let it cool and add a bit more until the crack was filled. That in a nutshell is how I am spending my corona lock down (so glad I'm not in Michigan!).

PUT THE BACKSEAT DELETE IN THE REDEYE. Bought a rear seat delete last year and put it in my blown '09 SRT8. Took it out when I bought the redeye and stored it. Transferred today.
