I am truly surprised they made a change in programming for the 2020 models. I guess you're right about complaints or focus group. They wouldn't spend more money for RD even for a relatively small single change like if there weren't significant complaints or preferences. Wonder if anything else is different.

Good points! @DRAGRCR please go over your car thoroughly. I'd like to know what else is different about the 20' Redeye vs 19' Redeye IF anything.

lol no, that looks the same as mine. I'd have been jealous if they offered the 2020 in a 1 seat though. Sure my lady would have complained, but I wouldn't have heard it as I drove away without her, hahaha

The RedEye cat is black where the Hellcat emblem is more of a pewter like color. I'd had my car for a while and had never noticed it. My wife noticed it at the race track one weekend when we were parked near some Hellcats.

I will say that your Red eye certainly shows up better on your car than mine does in mine. lol

Yes stacks are the same 2019/2020

I have the same findings as others w 2019. Power chiller only in track mode not even in custom.

Good info on the updates to the 2020 Ron. I'll offer an opinion that the engineers might not have been sure how much strain the cool down feature would put on cooling systems and may have limited it's use until they saw warranty claim trending. Assuming there weren't many, or any, they've now increased the options to use it. Hopefully the other year models with this feature get a software update as mentioned.

Does anyone ever use the launch control? I tried it way back when the car was new but had better 60' with foot braking.

The wife and I got out yesterday for a nice ride in the RE. We got more thumbs up and such than usual. That was nice.

While we were riding I began wondering if ol' Ron was out getting that first 500 miles out of the way...

I am up to about 175 miles so far. All city and short freeway segments. I drive it every day for about an hour or two. When I get a new SRT one of the most important things to me is that first 100-300 miles not cooking the diff and ending up with noisy gears. The THREE sets of 3.09's in the Demon were all noisy. The assembly line set were the quietest. The second set was noisier and the third set was obnoxious when cold at aroung 45 MPH. The set in the RedEye are quiet so far. I have not heard them make noise once.

Finally got her washed yesterday evening.....My Emblems are not black. I was referring to some of the cars have a much brighter silver Hellcat emblems. I am glad mine are darker, but not black. Maybe it varies by exterior color and year.
