Tinted tail lights, side markers on anyone's Challengers?

I'm guessing there's probably a few who have used the aftermarket tint kits for the tail lights and side markers. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions, good/bad experiences with any of the kits out there. Thought about adding these but don't want to buy junk that falls off after a few washes.

I did the back up lights on both my challengers...and the marker lights on my granite metallic HC...over 2yrs..problem free

I did the side markers, tail lights and rest alert reflectors on my 2015 years ago and my 2019 last year. So far no issues. See @luexconcepts. Great products.

I did the side markers with vinyl and it’s great. Virginia requires annual inspection so rear tail lights won’t pass.

It always looks good on darker colors...looks great on my granite HC...my Demon is yellow jacket...put em on...then took em off ...just didn't look right...

Just did the clear back up lghts on both...that looks awesome...

I did mine as well, but would recommend you use a heat gun to wrap the vinyl around the edges.

I tinted the rear with Luxe products. (Reflectors & Reverse)...Since those really don't affect safety. The side I did with a product sold by a guy on Amazon. Probably like 500% brighter at night than stock at night, and much safer than tinting them. Still look excellent in daytime.

If you are doing the "do it yourself" tint kits, LUXE is the way to go. Very good product, good videos. I did F/R side markers, rear center 3 layer decal and tail lights on all 3 of my cars. The T/A went through 2 winters and 52k miles and zero issues. No issues with the other cars either.

As VaRedeye said, flash it with a heat gun to really adhere it. Not a lot of heat but doing some will help it really stick.

Someone out there sells (or used to sell) "stealth" side markers that match the paint color but light up LED normally. IMO looks great but there were issues early on where they just stopped working.

@Heminized your markers look great. Happen to still have the info on those?

I covered all my rear lights and side markers with a Luxe product. I’ve used them for years.

I also replaced the silly OEM 3 LED sidmarkers with 12 LED side markers. OEM

All good info. Thanks guys. Cars look great. I saw the Luxe stuff. Looked like it was a good product but it's always nice to get the real deal from people who are using the stuff.

@ChargerChallenger -nice looking car. I've got the same year/color but not the Redeye. Was planning on getting the windows tinted after we get out of lockdown. One of these days....

Luxe, at this moment is not taking any new orders. Previous orders are 2 to 3 weeks out. I have found a local dealer in Clearwater, Fl hopefully may have sum in stock. Other than that, the manufacture is shut down. I guess put your name in the hat and see where you end up.

Hmm, I just ordered some for the Hellcat Charger I got and the order went thru fine. Hope I get them tho!

Had Luxe on my Scat Pack and they looked/lasted very well. Hopefully I wont have to wait......

Same here. Placed the order and it went in. Got an email that said they're getting the order ready to ship but it may just be an automated email. Guess we'll see.
