My ceramic coating is holding up fine. After every wash, or light spray, the damn red color pops like crazy.

I designed and installed an interior trim kit. The color is 3M Satin Vampire Red. I have the files to cut these pieces if anyone is interested in having a set made or modifying the design (Autocad 2010 format or Easydraw). I think any local decal maker could cut these, but install is a PITA. However, if you go slow and take your time, installation becomes a long, drawn-out, tedious PITA

What did you use a starting basis for the geometry??? Did you 3D scan or something?

Bull,
After several attempts, this is what worked pretty well for me. First get some Saran Wrap, the "peel and stick" variety. Lay this over what you want to cover with vinyl as evenly as you can so it sticks in place. Then take a fine tip marker (very fine tip) and trace the outline onto the Saran wrap. Remove and place the Saran Wrap on a sheet of graph paper. Then scan the whole thing into a computer using a flatbed scanner (mine is the printer, fax, scanner variety). Once on the computer you can resize the image using the graph paper as a dimension standard. The objects I produced are within a mm or two of being right on, so I did have to cut and trim some of the vent pieces to fit, but the method gets you close. Hope this helps. Thanks! I saw a similar one on Ebay from someone outside the US (probably doesn't have licensing rights). After seeing that, I kinda swiped the guys basic design (one good swipe deserves another) and made the one in my car. The nubs are cabinet bumpers I got from Amazon. Probably won't hold up to a lot of abuse, but seem to match the factory pedals.
