Hahaha. I would personally like to invite our neighbors from the north to visit “The Valley of the Sun” this summer. It’s still “Spring” and the forecast temperature in Phoenix next week is 109*. Wait for summer! It’s at least another 10 degrees hotter inside the dyno room. Ever experienced 125 degree heat. Lol. Come on down 🤪
It's a dry heat. I would take that any day over 95* and 95% humidity. I love going to Vegas in the summer when it's 110 outside.

I am trying to get an appointment with Tommy for the ice box. He is busy the next two weeks. You will get it straightened out. This coming week it is to be 105 in Tucson. So probably about 110 in phoenix.
Ya Tommy has 2-3 big builds coming up. Have him order the tank for you and hopefully get it done before the builds start.
Picked up my car today. Gonna go back in June depending on weather.

Should be back at the shop in 2 weeks for install and hit the dyno again. This set up by BigJohnRacing guarantees no belt slippage with the Magnuson.👍

What are they charging for that? From my research some other big HP guys haven’t had the need for it. Wondering why yours was slipping.

What are they charging for that? From my research some other big HP guys haven’t had the need for it. Wondering why yours was slipping.
650$ I’m not the only one. There is about 6-7 of us including bigjon running the 426 stroker and over 1100rwhp on the magnuson experiencing the belt slippage. Now a stock 6.2 with the magnuson pushing about 800-900rwhp no issues.
Ripatune and Gear Head fabrication experienced same issues pushing high hp numbers.
I believe it’s a flaw and poor design in the magnuson sc. lol it’s been a pain in my ass! So in 2 weeks install and tune on the dyno just to see if it works. Right now on the west coast it’s gonna be 121 degrees tomorrow 😩 so I will return in the fall for the big bad ass winter tune by TB and Tommy.
I’m gonna beat Marc’s dyno’s numbers for shits and giggles .....1203😂😁🤪😎

. Haha. I’ll be back on the dyno at the end if October with the 3.5” pulley before heading to Atco for another shot at that Heavyweight class. You better be doing more than shit’n and giggle’n cause we be looking for 1300whp. 😝

The problem with this Maggie is what works for the over 900whp combinations hasn’t been established like it has with the stock superchargers. The Maggie’s have that overdrive cog setup (that was recommended by them in this case and I think is part if the problem). Along with the overdrive ATI, it is trying to accelerate the supercharger faster than the primary pulley can handle without more belt wrap. This new Big Jon idler is a masterpiece. I’m actually surprised that it isn’t more expensive. One of the problems is..... others sort through this kind of stuff and never share what it took to get there. They produce the end results and keep whatever secrets they figure out to themselves. What you’re seeing here is the good, the bad and the ugly of being off the charts. Once all this is sorted out, then those who follow get to go straight to the established combo. Easy peasy

I'm debating on going down that road.....have 2 superchargers to sell to break even, but would need ID1700's for turning it "up"

I was gonna go with the Ripa’s tensioner then I saw bigjonsracing design and I was like I need that. My mistake it was actually 695$ not 650$.
Are you running the Magnuson on your set up?

Lol just saw your post up top FFBOS.
I had to upgrade to the 1700cc injectors. Also had To upgrade to the Fore triple pump system.
