I would say these calculators are pretty damn close.
Considering all the variables.... they are. The 60’ has a huge impact on et. In this case the track was max prep and traction was incredible. That’s why the performance was so good. On the other hand, the air sucked and that didn’t help. It’s often said that dyno numbers are not a honest measure. That is done on the track. At that weight at a approx da of 2000 feet the 155 mph says more than the dyno. Or at least it confirms it. Using one of the other calculators.... adjusting that down to sea level da puts it at 8.78-157.5 mph. Hopefully we’ll confirm that at Atco in November 🤗

I don’t know what data the computer is using to calculate the numbers. I have 30.5” tall tires with 3.40 gears so that could be a factor. I know my speedo reads from 8 to 10 mph slow.
There are more in depth calculations on the site if you go threw them. Everything from shift points gearing to barametric pressures. I could play with these calculators for hours:D

Do you know your hp humbers or weight ? I want to try yours.
Mine was tuned on a Mustang Dyno so will be lower than a Dynojet dyno, but it made 732rwhp & 4500lbs. with me in it.
Thanks.

I checked the the performance/timer in the car this morning and it said best 1/4 mile was 9.2 and I know it ran 8.90 so the computer is slow. It said that my best 0-60 was 1.51 and Wallace Racing calculator said 1.37 so considering that the computer was .3 slow in the 1/4 that sounds about right.
It’s probably being affected by your tire size. I believe it uses the speedometer to determine all those incrementals and yours is way off you said.

That’s what I was thinking but I don’t know where that computer is getting the mph info from. If it’s from rear wheel speed then it thinks all of the down track distances are farther then they really are. That would explain why it gave me a 9.2 in the 1/4 on a 8.9 pass. The longer rollout with those 30” tires. Isn’t it possible to make adjustments for tire size and gearing in the tune?

VCM Scanner has a spot where you can adjust tire size. It’s not in the tune itself.

Yes as Z said, I run the 315/50/17 = 29.4" tall at the track & 315/35/20 = 28.7" tall on the street & my tuner set tire height at 29" in the tune, we split the difference between the 2 tires.

Says my stock 5000lb Charger did 0-60 in 2.5s ... seems aggressive to me for my car.

Not as good as yours. They were 1.34x on my last three 8.6 passes. Not sure how many more my 2.62 rear will take, been through 4 years of racing on it.

Damn! Well if you ever get out to Arizona I have a 2.62 I’ll give you just to get it out of my garage.

I have a DSS 9” conversion with their 35 spline axles and a Strange 3.40 gear with a Spool. I’m running a taller tire than Z due to the gear.

No. The inner stubs are smaller on the ones that are for the stock differential. I forget what the spline count on the stock axles are. 28? Z knows. Using the stock diff requires the same size axle stubs as stock. That doesn’t mean they’re not stronger. Just not as strong as mine. I hope 😂

Those are the axles that I've been using myself. It's not exactly the same as Marc's since the axles for the 9" are specific for that kit.

You get that 1/8th mph up and look out!

I ran across your times online not long ago going 8.6, just awesome!
