I took my 2021 Challenger 1320 to the track for the first time yesterday. I had so much fun running the car. Dodge really knocked it out of the park with this package.
I drove about an hour and a half to Beechbend. I averaged 24.5 mpg on the way to the track! 😂 Which was actually a problem because I wanted to have way less fuel in my car when I was doing the runs. It was full!
I changed over to my drag wheels and tires at the track. They are weld Ventura 18x6 in the front and 17x10 in the back. The only modification I had to make was to change the rear swaybar links to a shorter link. Tires are Mickey ThompsonET street 28x6x18 front and 305/45R17 rear.
Very first pass was a 12.15 at 114.5 mph against an WB hellcat challenger- Awesome! Look at my 60ft vs his! He was on stock tires.

Next pass I decided to try out the transbrake. I’ve practiced a lot at home, but once that starting line excitement hits all that went out the window. I now see why no one uses it. Way too complicated! I do want to practice more and try to figure it out. Car basically stumbles off the line and you have to nearly stop then start again.
Circled right around and straight back into the lanes and made another pass immediately. Ran the best of the day 11.88 at 114mph.

I tried the transbrake one more time and fumbled again. After that I made 4 more passes each in the 11.9s.
Changed out my wheels and drove the car home. Picked up the family And headed to dinner.
I think the car has some 11.5s in it with more seat time. There was a 20 mph headwind and the DA was 1433. I also had the full interior down to the floor mats. The car weighed 4375 with me in it (I’m 235).
