Yeah I mean I’ll watch it just interested to see if they put a physical flex fuel sensor on the rail and how they handle it electronically. It’s going to be e85, 3.0 blow, 2.89 pulley, maybe 105mm throttle body. Whatever parts they have laying around from the crates, they are not making new parts for a limited run - mostly done via PCM calibration and using the high octane mode I’m betting because that already exists. They probably added one more param in the calibration for flex fuel sensor voltage and then redid the tables that already exist to use the voltage scaling for alcohol content
Exactly, not going to be new part spend on this. Stuff laying around in sufficient quantity. Only outlier being the wheels, but i suspect there were contractual agreements that were signed pre-buyout and this is a way of utilizing, rather than breaching them.
Yes, it's smart for them to use up what they have before going full golf cart on us. That said, if Dodge Frankensteins a 1000+hp street-legal car that has the potential to run 8.99s in good DA, it will be a MONSTER win and a fantastic swan song for the HP ICE era. They didn't have to do this. They could have stopped at sticker car #6.
They are doing this.
I for one am extremely stoked and can't wait to see and hear this beast in 8 days...

YYYYzzz that...I don't recall saying you were wrong....I just find it humorous that you can dance the Hokey Pokey longer than a Polish father @ his daughters 3rd wedding....
Funny they came in as parts bin cars and are going out the same way. I almost completely disassembled/re-assembled my 2009 R/T over the years I had it and found so much parts bin stuff on that car it was nuts. The seat belt clips didn't even match lol. One was solid chrome metal and the other was chrome with a plastic shield around the belt as just one example.

I was thinking of the fairy blowing through the wind meter. Maybe that's a subtle hint from srt on how they feel about dodge since stellantis took over....
I was watching some of the demon reveal videos. 100x better than the green troll they got now. Dodge really went all out on the latest and greatest vids.
I saw one of the supposed engineers leave a snarky comment to CDM on Instagram about why he hadn't come and given a presentation to the engineers that had provided him such a sweet gig. I thought WTH. I called the dude out and said I'd like to see engineers show up to some enthusiast events to talk to the people who gave them a job.

I’m sure I’m not the only LXF guy who remembers when SRT engineers would do EXACTLY that and had Q&A sessions with owners looking for honest feedback and were sincere about it…dang that’s going back just short of twenty years now. Looks like we’re quite literally at the end of an era…with Dodge/Hemi/ICE @ least…
