Amazing! Challenger Redeye into the 7s

In those pictures I believe he was running the 275 tire. That was a requirement at the import vs domestic race last week. He couldn’t run the boost necessary for max power with the small tire on the IRS so he only ran a 7.94. The season is over and it’s being backhalf’d now to run big tire outlaw next year. He’ll be looking for 6.90 at 200+

Btw…. There may be a few who will remember the Woodward street event about three years ago when the new Redeye blew up the engine doing a burnout in front of the crowd and just about burned down. That was this car. It was a mess and it was rebuilt. It’s been a steady progress since then. The guy is dedicated! 👍🏼

I just got off the phone with James. I was at the Street Car Super Nats all weekend at Vegas Motor Speedway and had a long talk with the MATSLV (Muscle Cars at the Strip) promoter. He wants to promote a fastest Hellcats pairing. James is doing a big tire back half on the Redeye now and will be ready for Epling. I’ll be there ready to fight with any Dragpaks that might show up (AJ?). 😝
