Yes. I was helping a friend of mine yesterday with a '70 Z-28. That 10% ethanol in the gas is a killer. So corrosive.

Wanna' have some fun? Bring a tach/dwell meter into a dealership and find someone who even knows what it is. Never mind about setting up a dual-point distributor.

They really don't need to know about that in the bew car environment and most are younger people starting out.

Many get experience and move on to their own shop or an independent where they can make more money.

Pure gasoline isn't readily available around here.

I agree about the newer Techs. Though they do get a kick out of primitive technology.

I didn't notice the Netherlands. We have a granddaughter that lives t there.

Tell him to replace any fuel lines with new ethanol resistant ones.

I only use ethanol free in the '69, with ample octane booster. The only ethanol free in my area is mid-grade, when you can find it. I keep 10-20 gallons, just in case, as it works in the generator and lawn mower.
