Might as well make suppressors on the side to offset the cost. looks like you got the ability.

Looks great, always interested in lightweight components

390s and the matching rears are first, 400s are an easy and quick 2nd.

We don't have pricing yet, but they are certainly a substantial and premium rotor.

The goal is to be ~1/2 of a set of cf rotors, but 2/3rds might become a reality?

Another hint is that the raw material, depending on supply chain status, is $110-150/kg. More than once over the last year or two, as things were crazy, we were forced to pause as material pricing either inflated beyond reason or was just plain unavailable. :mad:

This pricing is one of our main struggles and focuses, if we can get our preferred suppliers to play ball, we can really bring our pricing back down. They don't seem to care that we are using orders of magnitude more material than most manufacturers. (Most manufacturers are either using grams and making hundreds, or kgs and making a couple of units - we are making thousands at ~20kgs per set)
Is the time it takes to print these the same (or similar) to your prior material?

Is the time it takes to print these the same (or similar) to your prior material?
Not an easy or single answer.

Under ideal conditions, these print faster, however right now they print much slower. One of the two alloys prints faster than the other, but is also more expensive, but then requires less post-processing.

For you guys who are looking to replace your factory rotors but don’t want to feel the pain I put theses on my car and they are doing great for a stock set up my cost is 112.00 each View attachment 115496

Understood, but with a 60lb reduction in rotational weight, maybe 7s were in your future.

OK, maybe not 7s, knowing how much harder that is, but these will make ET differences for a lot of drivers.

Shoot Dave can barley handle the stock power he doesnt need to go fast.
I've told people time and time again a brake conversion nets really good ET

FYI, the first batch of Inconel718 rotors actually went to post-processing yesterday.

Unfortunately that will take longer, manufacturing lead times are crazy right now, that should put us in Detroit for testing end of October or so?

Stop in when you come through you will be going down a highway about 20 mins from my house most likely and 2 miles from my work so maybe we can catch up

Dyno test on your car? Do you mean your rotors on a car on a dyno spinning?
Dedicated, specialized brake dyno. You should see the electrical motors that drive these things, and the power they take to drive them. Gigantic (tunable) flywheels to simulate the mass of the car.
