My time slip for the day is turned in. My first pass I had an absolute pine cone moment on the line as launch control would not properly activate so I did three little mini burnouts after I was fully staged and ended up running no time.
Went back to the pits for some practice and ended up getting 1900 RPM to hold without pushing through. So I went back up and made a second pass and went 10.289 which slides my average back to 10.259 for the week so far. A couple hundredths slower 60ft which explains the couple hundredths at the top. Also accidentally left the car in D instead of M for the first shift. As a result the car short shifted 1st extremely early it it probably wpuldve been a 10.teen pass.
I've noticed a weird RPM plateau in the log files when I run launch control. It occurs right after I come off the brake and the car starts to accelerate. It coincides with the "Fuel System Status" transition from what would be considered OL Accel into Normal-CL as the commanded lambda changes from 1.0 to actual target. This odd plateau is not present in past footbrake logs. Mph doesn't plateau at the same time and appears consistent. No evidence of spin or otherwise.
To further elaborate there is absolutely no knock retard at all either short-term or long-term, timing appears to be normal, injector duty cycle and any other metric you can examine look to be acceptable and does not show anything to be in danger at this point. It's just...odd.
Despite that the car will just blueprint all day long on launch control which is the exact opposite of what some of you experience. So I can't explain that. Lol
