I have seen some (most) that I would totally agree. My point is..... if you’ve built a car (those of who have done it know what it costs) and you can’t use it to its potential, then what have you got! You are fortunate that you can do what you’re doing and have at it. The tracks I use would pull your ticket and warn you. You come back and do it again and you will possibly be black listed and not be allowed to run again until show up with all the 8.5 cert boxes checked. Count your blessings.
I agree, track near me wouldn’t let me run because my helmet was out of date by a month. My buddy ran a 137, was warned, backed off hit a 135.5, got a finger shake, did another 136 and they erased his numbers from on his car. I’m hitting 134.5, most likely next time out I’ll be low 10’s and 136-137, I guess I’m about done which my wallet will be happy with lol. Now to just get her dialed a bit better in the back end to knock off 10’s on street rubber off the line on the streets of Mexico
. At 11.4 already on a cold road, just bought all the BMR rear components to be able to adjust my contact patch so I think it’s going to be possible.
NICE runs
