Hellcat Powered Durango With Demon Hood

I made the same decision. Could have had a leftover '17 for a steep discount or order an '18 R/T @ invoice or the SRT @ MSRP.
Just couldn't justify the extra $18 - 20K for the 392 in a vehicle that's the designated dog hauler. Plus, the Cat is sitting right next to it for those times I need to cut loose !

I have no dogs or kids to go in the back.
Am I doing it wrong?

I skipped the kid part myself, but how can you live without dogs (asked the guy that runs a dog rescue) !

I am so beyond puzzled on why Ram didn’t drop this motor in the 1500 just make no sense whatsoever. And sure this is really awesome and the Trackhawk as well but the pricing kept me away . And have to wonder what the Durango will do as well and I truly looked hard this last summer on getting a SRT but damn just a little steep on price.

I agree but once again don’t you feel the Ram 1500 could handle the HC motor without much modification? Trans update, bigger brakes and what else would need to be done?

I think Ram is afraid of another SRT-10. Great truck, but not a huge success. I still think it was brilliant, but it didn’t sell very well.

Just never was a Durango..or Trackhawk fan...both impressive vehicles..just not for me

I wasn't a Durango fan until the SRT model was released. Having owned a slew of high hp, rear wheel drive vehicles both in auto and manual, the 475hp AND All Wheel Drive put me over the edge. "I've got to get me one these things". 😂

But, this is a 3rd and/or 4th car disposable income purchase. Not a primary "only" car. It's a fun daily driver tho. No more driving the HC & GT350 in the rain which is not enjoyable at all.
