Got on her today for a few seconds. After that I felt a vibration and looked in the rear-view mirror. Smoke. No codes. But that I do not think means much at times. She is idling. But even smoking at idle. I may just trade her in this way.

May be able to get the engine refreshed a lot cheaper now then if it gets let go. If you trade it in it may be a pretty low number. Have to weigh the options of fixing And taking less on trade

It is a tough decision. The car itself is getting a little old. I can get a well-built short block for 7-8K. With labor and new parts, gaskets, new chain, etc. 4K. So, do I want to spend 11-12K which would be less than a new car? But what new car? Everything is like 100K these days.

E85 or pump gas. That's white smoke indicative of coolant potentially. If it was burning oil you would see a blueish hue to it. I tried to trade in my 15 HC and was only offered 32k for it. Told the dealer to suck my left nut. My engine and trans alone is worth 30k.

Anyway I think you should refresh it. You're not getting anything in the same realm of performance cheap unless you go with Ford.

Weird. I reflashed the computer. It was down to 4 gallons of E85 in it. I put 91 in it at the local station. I know not to floor it. And it is now running very rich as it is an E85 tune. But the smoke is gone! Bad E85? two videos. one of the exhaust and one of the engine.

Yeah. They were going to give me 22K today. lol. I would rather get a new 411 Billet. And the interest rates and not such great discounts has me not happy with Dodge. And the one car I do want is 105-115K. To steep for me as I bought my wife and two girls new cars within the last two years and am paying on those.

Lots of miles, almost a toss up between getting it fixed and getting a new one. New one definitely more money but it's a new car. Old ones cheaper, but its older and worn. Tough call.

Fwiw...Melloy Dodge here in ABQ has a ton of new Hellcats on the lot that they are discounting more than $10k
