Returned it to KC for upgrade to larger unit, should be back by end of the week, facia off and waiting, welding up a 1 gallon hopper tank while waiting on it. Hopper tank will fit under the passenger side headlight. I’ll post pictures of the installation as I go so there’s some ideas for others to go on. 857A4850-B40E-4CE9-BA95-BDAA34FC1C10.jpeg

That's cool , would like to hear how the hopper tank is plumbed in , is the stock inner coolers staying on or being removed ?

Stock intercoolers staying, they get bypassed by a 3 way valve when the chiller is on. I’ll post some pictures along the way. Will also have a Valve to bypass cabin AC and put it all threw this larger cooler. Expecting 30 something fluid in 80 something degree Summer weather. All the lines and tank will have R3 insulation on them. No more pushing it in the lanes :) just leave her run and everything be a steady even ready for WOT hit like it’s a 40 degree day but on 100 degree sticky pavement :) :)

So with these bypass valves , if I understand correctly , your able to NOT use the KC or run the A/C at all if you want ? like on the street , & the stock inner coolers still do their job , then at the track you can run the KC only or for cabin too , so any combination that you want ?....if so that sounds real cool ( no pun intended ) & something I would like. I always thought that with a KC , I would always have to run the A/C , that I don't want to do.

Thanks for info !

If the AC is on the KillerChiller is on, you’ll have KillerChiller and cabin air conditioning, with the drag valve closed all the Freon goes to the KillerChiller no cabin air conditioning, whenever the KillerChiller is on the radiators are bypassed. So if it’s cool enough out to not have to use air-conditioning most likely for the street you won’t need the KillerChiller but if you want the KillerChiller even when it’s cool out you could put it in drag mode if you don’t want cabin air conditioning or use the fan control and put the air conditioning for the cabin on low. This what you wanted to know?

OK , how much & which temps are you talking about lowering ?....inner cooler temps or intake air temps ?....I know a lower I/C will lower the IAT's but it is not a 1 to 1 correlation ? … the IAT's are the most important.
sorry for all the ?'s , just trying to rap my head around this.

Hoping with 30 something IC water temps can get 50-60 something or lower IAT temps in 80 Something weather.

BTW, will put it on the dyno too once it’s all done and roads are clean enough to take her out and see if there’s any gain. Going stir crazy, I need a gear banging fix from one of my cars.

Hopper tank done, ended up making it from 1/8” SS. Will insulate it and install 2 45 degree hose barbs one Tee’ing into the blower coolant supply line the other to the KC unit. Waiting on larger KC to return to open it up and get it done

So the drag size KillerChiller is finally fully installed and operational :) 28F coolant in 50F ambient and Kincaid in talking with him about Freon charging said it’ll perform that well even in 75-80 F ambient, that would be SWEET. I Only had a brief ride out with it in a clean break and butt dyno and under wear say different lol parts of the ride actually made me think how close to the edge I get in this car at times reliving the moment afterwards, haunted me afterwards.
Here’s a picture of the engine bay, other then the heavily insulated chilled water lines right to the super charger inlets clean installation. Neither drag valve or 3 way bypass valve can be seen, it’s all down under the air box and head light, factory like. I’ll post up a string of pictures of steps beginning to end soon. 6D6A3174-2A53-41A5-842E-43C41777D04A.jpeg 6E48077A-5966-4812-8F9E-E01DBB81E7BA.jpeg 308022F3-DA9A-4B06-9054-08A1D8120AB0.jpeg

First class install. Very nice! Good luck, hope this thing works as good as it looks. If it does you prob got them some business from here alone. If they use your car on their site as a poster advertisement for success maybe you can work out a gratis deal.
