You run the pro radial full time on the street or do you run an all season?
Just on my Toys but yea they are on all the time. Like any slick there are ok in the rain as long as there is not puddling.

I have a DD Audi RS3 making 800 whp that gets Cont Extreme Contact Sport 02's.... Best DD driver tire u can buy currently. Sticky AF, better in the rain then PS4, last longer than a PS4 and costs less. No brainer for a DD tire.

Most everyone here drives their car on the street not the track. Did u watch the video? Its a PBR the ET Street Pro Radial isnt offered in the different sizes. I have run both the Street R and the PBR on the street and the difference in traction between the two isnt even close...... Like apples to oranges literally!

I have countless friends with 7 and 8 second cars they ALL run the PBR on the street and at the track. I honestly dont know anyone who runs the ET Street anymore on the street unless they dont have the right sized rim. I melt those Street R's on the street like they are radials lol those are garbage on the street compared to the PBR. Not even close. The ET Street R is heavy AF to.

At the track it will depend on the surface but ive never run anything other than a PBR on my Turbo Mustang and it makes 1500 hp.

The Pro Drags are for radial prepped track surfaces.

I think some here might be confusing the Pro Bracket Radial with the ET Street Radial Pro. The Pro Bracket Radial, which is what is now being offered in 17" and 20" configurations, has a harder compound than Et Street R and ET Street Radial Pro. The ET Street Radial Pro is the tire that will offer the most bite on a radial prepped track, and unfortunately, this tire is still only available in 15" sizes.

I run both ET Street R and Pro Bracket Radial 15" tires on my Redeye. The ET Street R will hook better and be more consistent on a well prepped track than the PBR, however, the PBR hooks better and is more consistent on less than stellar prepped tracks than the ET Street R. I haven't used the ET Street Radial Pro yet, but from what I hear from people that have used them, they are the top of the food chain on a radial prep track. I plan on trying them next season.

There was mention earlier in this thread of the PBR being a much softer compound than the ET Street R, which it's not, and being that some of the tire names are so close, I thought I would add more info between the 3 Mickey offerings to avoid confusion.

You're right, most here drive their car on the street. The PBR isn't street legal, so it's not of use for most people here. I wish it was street legal, because it does hook much better on the street than the ET Street R, but it's not. Like you I was shocked how much better the PBR hooks on the street than the ET R tires, but being that it isn't street legal, i won't drive around on the street with it.

Bro, do u know what makes the Street R street legal? Its the little thin lines that come with it stock that are called rain grooves lol. Tire compound has nothing to do with a tire being STREET LEGAL its the tires ability to escape rain. After ur first burnout those grooves will be essentially gone and therefore ur Street legal Street R tire is no longer STREET LEGAL!

So u dont use the better hooking tire cause its not legal for the street? I was Police for 25 years bro..... I never checked someones tires ever. Nor has any other cop ive ever known including State Troopers so the whole "Street Legal" thing is kinda silly bro. Cops have way better things to do with their time then check rain groove depth.

The PBR will hook better than the Street R so if being STREET LEGAL is what ur after cause u think the Street R is a safer tire I can assure its NOT!

Nothing safe about ending up in the woods cause ur tire spins due to too much HP. I would abondon the idea of not running the PBR's cause they are not street legal..... No one uses the street R or the the PBR in the rain so the little rain grooves are just there for fun lol they do nothing.

I will be willing to bet Dollars to Donuts that if I checked the grooves on ur Street R tires right now they would FAIL the rain groove test and therefore NOT be street legal which would mean its less than 4/32 of an inch. That can found under the federal MV Code 393.75.

Both the Street R and PBR are DOT compliant! Being legal means its safe in the rain. No one operates their car in the rain with either tire.
