Nice story OP.. I remember the first time I got into mopar.. I was cruising home (Summer 2016) from the shore in my 2009 black Honda V6.. I’m doing about 75-80.. I hear this car on the on-ramp go wide open throttle making one of the sweetest sounds I’ve ever heard.. in a couple seconds I see this white four door hitting triple digits merging onto a relatively empty highway in front of me.. he slows back down a bit and I can catch up.. I Read.. Charger SRT 392. It was that moment. I had sorta been juggling around ideas for cars in the 50K ballpark. At the time I was 25. I was initially looking at like Lexus.. and other imports before discovering SRT dodge Products existence.. I did some research.. a couple months later (August) I ordered a Jazz Blue SRT 392 Sepia,Sunroof, HK, hyper black wheels. I loved that car and all 22.5K miles I put on her. When I first got the car I became a part of Hellcat.Org.. after a Year and a half of ownership... I craved something a little bit faster. I always dreamed ever since I got the 392.. that what if? What if I had a hellcat? Once I saw the Redesign for the 19’s I was like okay that’s the one! I was worried and I was right! That maybe 2020 would come around and the charger hellcat I like would be more restyled and I wanted one looking well more like 15s-18s.. but I think the 19’ was really neat because it separated itself from the pack with the dual snorkel grille. Which I’ve grown to really love.. so getting to the moral of the story.. I will remember the day.. it was October something 2018 haha.. my pitch black 2019 HC had just arrived. I parked my jazz blue 392 right next to her. For a few moments I actually had felt a little regret.. just because how nice that 392 looked in Jazz blue. So I sit inside my HC for the first time. Was impressed by the upgraded materials on the dash and doors etc.. but the moment all regrets flew out the window. I put my foot on the brake and started that Engine. It produced this sound unlike anything the 392 made.. much Groanier Wail.. The dash lights up Red Key activated 707 horsepower. It was that moment when I was like wow someone pinch me this is a dream come true.. fast forward to now.. as I continued to work my tail off in the Construction biz.. I was able to afford a RE too! Reality is what you make it.. if you work hard enough and take Proper advice along the way and have a fair bit of luck.. (Now Nearly 30yrs of age) One day you wake up and say “Dreams are nice, but I’ve worked hard so now those dreams could become my Reality” and that my friends concludes my story.
