Oh man!! An OV-1 Mohawk...from way back when the Army had close support fixed wing aircraft. I think those are so neat looking.

And of course.....the mighty '47.

You might want to seriously think about entering pics 5 and 7 (the front view with the 47 in the backgound, and the front view with the OV-1 in the background) in the car of the month contest. hint, hint.....just sayin'.......

That is just a damn nice looking color on your car. I think it was a nice tone down from Plum Crazy without them going overboard.

I agree. I really like the plum crazy as well, with the satin black hood especially. At first I was thinking about doing the same with my car, but the more I look at the more I just want to keep it the way it is.

I'm pretty sure I seen a OH but it was a shell. I'm sure there is a good one around, all army posts have em.

I'm sure...since they were so readily available. Many years ago...and I mean many.....I passed through El Paso several times. I spent a bunch of time at CCAD delivering Blackhawks for upfitting, and then test flights. Good times.

I really want to get a picture with an AH-64 but the have those behind the brown fence

I figured since I gave the aviators some love, I would do the same for my Armor and Mechanized Infantry brothers (for those professional photographers, sorry I couldn't get the light poles and signs out of the shot😬).

I've never been Mechanized (light infantry my whole career) but I tell you what, having an Abram next to you in a firefight is something to behold.

My hooch at BIAP was just inside the perimeter wall, and all night long the Bradley would go back and forth on patrol....slept like a baby.

I owe a case of beer to an Abrams crew that I never got to meet. I was stuck on the highway just north of Taji while a crew tried to get their Humvee going again. The Abrams crew saw we were sitting ducks and pulled up onto the highway blocking oncoming traffic until we got the tow rig hooked up and could get outta there. I never got to meet them or thank them personally, but I was sure as hell grateful they were there. We just got completely lucky that the Humvee broke down in that spot of highway.

My co worker got a scat pack with a shaker hood he ordered and switched colors at the last minute to get Hellraiser, the color is unreal. Parked next to my Red Eye his sometimes almost looks black in the shade.
