I looked for three years for a suitable preloved unit to purchase. It wasn’t even for sale. Just heard about it when I was purchasing some wheels for one of my Turbo Buicks. Struck a deal.

Yes I went to Milan Dragway a couple times this summer/ fall to get acclimated with the car. Wasn’t so concerned with ET but more wanted to see the trap speed around 125 or better. Mission accomplished.

I love the Hellcat and Scat Pack powered vehicles. I’ve found myself wanting to drive the ‘Cat more than my other fun cars. A close friend who is a Stellantis engineer had a Scat Pack Charger with a set of M/T drag radials. Drove it and was astounded by how strong it was, with three people aboard no less. That was it for me. Only regret is that I didn’t get any skin in the game sooner!

I think it's better to get each personal best while getting acclimated to the launching, SRT settings....ect.

I guess your friend was an SRT engineer?

It was great to get back to the track again after way too long. There will definitely be more trips to come.

Did a LOT of reading and researching how to run one of these beasts. Completely different than other cars. Immense torque which requires finesse trying to get it up and moving ( even with drag radials.)

My friend unfortunately isn’t an SRT engineer but in a different albeit, more pedestrian area of engineering for Stellantis . One of the dwindling number of “car guys” still in the field for the “Big Three”.
