Went a 9.70 very soft launch then went after it last pass and spun again and lifted at end trying to go after 10 class. Averaged 10.07 but don't think it will win class and too slow for quick 8 so not good weekend for me

Waiting for meeting on all winners. Dad went 13.5, 15.6, 13.6 14.29 average we will see how he does

Yes and no. Track just sucked. To spin 2 out of 3 when I normally hook so more disappointing

I saw Steve Turner walking around our area Friday so I walked over and talked to him. He works for NMRA/NMCA. Some info is wrong but made it on the facebook page

Jim Burr and his girlfriend Teresa Corner are on the property and having fun in the Dodge // Mopar Hemi Shootout class this weekend at US 131 Motorsports Park. Burr is piloting this daily driver, a silver 2015 Hellcat Challenger, which features a rare list of options and a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger underhood. It runs low-9-second passes despite clocking in at 4,700 pounds. Burr hopes to get drafted into Sunday's High Horse Performance, Inc. Hemi Quick 8 class. Conner meanwhile turned his keys over to Jim Burr Sr. who is gunning for the 14-second title in her daily driver, a 2018 Challenger RT.

Craig Blossom brought out an assortment of fast Hemi machines to play in the Dodge // Mopar Hemi Shootout. You could say he has a thing for modern Mopars, as he owns several, including two Hellcats, two Demons, a Redeye, and more. Eventually, he hopes to own eight of them, but thus far this blue 2016 Hellcat is his favorite. Tuned by Daniel Cox at DCR Racing, whom Blossom credits for the success of his car, it runs a smaller upper pulley and E85 to make 9.6-second passes. Blossom survived five heart attacks, 17 stints, and a quadruple bypass, so he is committed to living life to the fullest.

I believe Craig is 1st alternate for the quick 8 I'm the 2nd. Don't think I will get the call in the morning but will still be at the track
