What focus group did you have that said:

"Yeah, we want fake sound coming out of our EV so we sound like an ICE engine!"

This is going to go down as a blunder worse than the Edsel.

My much younger brother who loves EVs laughed his ass off at the reveal with that stupid sound coming out of it.

Even if I don't WANT an EV, at least you could have given me the opportunity to respect it for styling and performance, but no, now you only get disgust and disdain.

Okay... I'm not in love with the look, but whatever. If the performance were there, I could probably stomach it. But that fake exhaust note (up to 126 dB)... to be honest I just laughed. Now, with BMW and all those piping it through the stereo, etc... already, and the fart can exhausts, I mean it could possibly be worse, but I think they really need to do more focus groups or whatever. I not into it at all. Until the hack that lets you change it to HHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK as you scream by. And I don't think they got the rear quarter view right... I know they want usable rear seats but the roof line is extended too long or something to me. Just looks off. But then, this is the concept right? They could shit can the stereo exhaust system.

Have to say the current charger looks better to me. I would pay good money for a AWD version, even it was front hub motors stolen off a Tesla. I'll take the weight penalty for the small battery and additional alternator.

What did I think of the balance of what you describe which is nothing? You got a concept shape of a car to show us, and don’t know enough about it to share more? Keep it, dude. I’ll get something more soon that your competitor is offering, probably keep the Redeye in the garage and see what you can come up with. So far, not even remotely impressed with your premature marketing attempts.

Otherwise why buy a company’s automobile the first few years on a new unproven battery tech being integrated. Will see how many recalls and what not when people take the banshee to the drag strip and beat the crap out of it and they need to cover their 40000 battery under warranty. 5 bucks says they’ll try to void warranty any type of racing. I mean is this thing going to be as solid as a plaid making repeated runs or is their a breaking point in short time?

I don’t care about the plaid. I’m simply referencing it for performance. Once this banshee is a 9 second car then I’ll take notice. That’s what I’m saying. If it’s similar performance to a Redeye and hellcat then why would I buy it? I mean the battery is only going to take so much abuse. I wouldn’t put full faith in dodge stellantis battery tech until it’s proven after a few years. Let’s see how the batteries hold up in the daily commuter cars before we go ripping down the strip in them a couple dozen times in their new Top Trim level and see what’s happens. They’ll need charging ports at the strip or road course because unless your trailering you won’t make it home on a low battery

That’s where I’m at too. I’m not saying this or that of the plaid. What I’m saying is all EVs are essentially a Blob why trade a hellcat one of the most desirable vehicles on the road right now for another run of the mill EV. But a Blob with 4WD Big Brembos and 2000hp from the factory with a warranty has a nice ring to it. If it can be reliable being beaten up and driven relatively hard.
