Thanks for the comments guys.

When I was looking for a DSRT last year, I called several dealers about getting it done. One said they knew about it and could do it, another said they guessed they could do it, the last two weren't aware of it. I've since lost that list, so I'm now going through the calling/search process again.

I knew about TSB 08-087-23, but your directing me to TSB 08-090-23 had me take a second look. I now see Dodge has one for each model year, the 087 being for 2023's and the 090 for 2019's. So I went to a TSB search website (https://www.tsbsearch.com/) and just interchanged the middle numbers until I found the one for my 2022.

Bingo! It's TSB 08-088-23, thanks again for the help.(y)

It takes 10-15 minutes by a “real” tech.

Question:

Do people who have the Stellantis "Key Lock Down/RF Hub Lockout" done still need to keep their key fobs in a Faraday Bag?

Is the "relay attack" (described below) addressed by this procedure, or is the "RF Hub Lockout" meant for something else?

So do thieves not care about R/Ts?

No. Don’t give a rip and that is a PIA. Got that and one other fundamental “lock-out” in the Challenger and a concealed VIN. Enough for me. There is insurance.

For that example above my car is behind a very secure door, camera with motion detection (my home is surrounded with them) and a robust alarm system that is also monitored besides an instant alert on my phone for the cameras and any penetration of our home. A squirrel goes past that particular camera watching that door and I am alerted!

No bro, they can still steal the signal from ur original key fob they just cant make a new FOB via VIN#. This is why I always tell ppl to get the IGLA with Drone GPS. I also recommend a kill switch to the On/Off switch cause its simple and takes 10 minutes and is really easy to hide. Honestly, the RF hub probably wont do shit thats the least likely way they are stealing ur car.

U cant prevent a tow truck with a dolly coming up and taking our shit in less then 15 seconds either! Yea bro 15 seconds! That is why u need Drone or some other GPS. Personally I have a kill switch, IGLA, Drone GPS with front and rear Cameras that record if any movement that goes directly to my phone AND last but not least is LoJack which is nation wide now.

LoJack is a one time fee and can only be activated thru NCIC which is the computer system LE uses throughout the country. There are no monthly fees like with GPS. But keep in mind if and when u activate LoJack ur car will be a stolen recovery for life which is why I always encouarge ppl to utilize their GPS tracking BEFORE activating LoJack so maybe u can find ur shit before reporting it stolen!

I worked in Auto theft for 10 years LoJack is the very best thing u can have to actually find ur car cause its RADIO based NOT Satellite based so there is no hiding in garages or apartment complexes or shipping containers.

I have a trx so well versed in the security aspect of these.
The IGLA sales crew is in full force over there…

If I can get the rf hub done that is another thing for someone to do.

Every little thing helps for sure..... LoJack is the very best thing one can have tho if they really want to find their shit if stolen. It has a 15 yr battery life now as well and its tiny so can be hidden anywhere. Mine is under a fender that I removed.

Thanks for the input guys.

For right now, I'll go with the key hub lockout, Faraday Key FOB bag, and two other security features.

But I've got an update on the Faraday Key FOB bag, will post in a minute in "General Automotive Discussions" ....
