That sounds very possible. I was thinking that it was a HUGE risk to just put that on the track in front of the world and leave it to chance. Especially on a slippery slow ass track like Vegas. That track is a sure .2 slower than elsewhere, even on a good day. I know. I run the damn thing. For that car to do that just as planned is very suspicious. They can put any number up on that board they want after the fact. Plus…. That 151 number is too slow for a 8.91. I ran a 8.90 at 155 with a 1.27 sixty ft. I think you’re right. It’s bull shit.

When I'm at the track watching sometimes a no time car will run. I practice on the other cars timing them so I can time the no time cars. Most nights I'm around a tenth off at most so I have an idea what they ran

After having thought about this….. I bet that in all of the undercover testing they did with this package, they ran that number in good conditions on a prepped track. So it’s a legit number that the car is capable of and they posted it up after the glamour pass that everybody got to see. Pretty slick marketing actually. Instead of just telling everybody they did it, they showed it off getting down the track. I like the changes they made to the car. Even the narrow front with the fat ass. That will look a lot better with real frontrunners and a big tire on a 15” wheel on the rear. I wonder if the rear brakes are already sized for that.

Lol. You read my mind. I am. The widebody will keep the rubber I have to clean off the rear (huge pain in my ass) to practically nothing. Now it will be a hot new thing…. I’m going for it. I expect people will be asking me if it’s a 170 😂
