OK, I made some passes at LSMF. The DA was at least 1800 when we were making our passes, so it wasn't the best of conditions. My PB was 10.32@130 with a 1.51 sixty foot. I made 3 passes, each getting .1 slower due to the weather getting hotter. These were the first passes I had made since my mods were installed, and I had noticed that at the top end, around 1,000 feet, the car felt like it was starving for fuel (Shell 93 half a tank). Finally my buddy Brian Mason showed up and made a couple of passes while data logging the car. He also noticed the problems at the top end. He got with my tuner Alex Peitz and made some corrections to the tune, then Brian made another pass, and even though it was hotter, he showed a .2 improvement in the car, with no more top end issues.
With my glass half full, if I didn't have problems at the top end, my 10.32 would've been 10.12 with a higher mph. In good negative DA, that should put me in the high 9's.
I still have some Demon springs to be installed, which should really help.
More to come when we get another track rental with some good DA.
