Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

My buddy just picked some up and he is a distributer now. The shipping to Canada is brutal as usual.
Do you have the front skinnies also?

I only have the VMS front skinnies, thinking about adding the 17" over the 18" in the rear where I have a different wheel.

Bolts right on, clears everything and uses the stock type lug nuts. Look at my avatar

my only concern is will they slow me down.

I appreciate that but I can always go to Malone or Platsburg if I have to. The border nonsense makes that difficult.

Yea, LOTS since the last posts!! I didn’t think anyone would be interested in hearing the continued adventures of 16GoManGo lol. I’ll post up some of what’s been going on to get to below, maybe it will entice some interest in the pains to get here with a M6 cat. All street data, haven’t been to the track with her yet.

I attached the wrong dyno graph. That’s before @jonx96 aka @Jon-MooredPerformanceLLC did some tuning magic on a pulley upgrade, here’s the proper dyno sheet of that tuning night, settled on the tune that netted 947 and change. That weekend won 1st place in the dyno HP contest at a local colleges ASME department car show.

Both dyno’s match pretty well. Notice how fast she spools that dyno lol, 50-145 in 3-4 seconds. People there were like “WTF was that??” Reply was that’s how quick 850 wheel tq spins up a dyno!!

I ran my car last, broke allot of hearts lol , kept hearing during the event as I was parked by the dyno, ah “It’s just a Hellcat”

@jonx96 so you were obviously dialing a couple things in. Do you have a feel for how much RWHP each degree of timing is worth? I've heard 10 and I've heard 15 and I'm curious. I've always split the difference at 12.

That’s a tough one to answer. I could go back and look to see what was added each pull. But these cars get to a point where 2 degrees doesn’t make much of a different. Off memory this was a max of 19 degrees of timing and 6500 rpm.
As far as times go at the track or street the ramp in of the timing is more important than trying to get every last degree. Same max timing but playing with ramp in of timing (stick car) worried about traction we were knocking time off like crazy.
