Yes, I am serious. Outside of the Hellcat family, what has he done for Dodge/Ram?
He fell in love with buying carbon credits while his competition planned ways around it.
GM and Ford still have their performance V8s and investing in new generations of them. Thats one of a few gripes with the guy.

Do we know that was his decision though? If he was THE CEO I could lay a lot of blame at his feet, but when he's "A" CEO with a boss.......

I do agree they should have had a more long term strategy so someone at the overall conglomerate missed the boat for sure. They did try with the Dart and the Fiat 500 but those were meh. They needed a more fuel efficient "tuner" car priced right for the younger market with a little turbo 4 cyl to play with. Maybe hybrid AWD if they were slick.

They forced out just about all engineering...why is it so hard to think that ole Timmy wasn't forced out as well....I'm sure they have a plan...It's just not to our liking...

The timing is why I think he resigned, I mean retired. They gave him Ram exactly one year ago and positions like his usually have contracts attached for 12 mos terms.

But him and Ralph. They probably have a ton of great stories.


Makes me wonder what kind of company this would be if Sergio was still alive.
FCA was hitting home runs and Stellantis seems like they want to kill the American side of the brand.
I get cutting costs, but it seems like they are taking extreme measures to do it.

Sounds to me...like someone with an axe to grind...he's not done with the auto industry...and generally if you retire from a lofty position..such as his..there is a non compete clause attached to your departure..usually 1 year or more...that precludes you from working for a competitor...if your let go...there are no such restraints...I'm tellin ya folks Timmy got booted..
