I tweaked my back a few months back..(nothing serious)..acts up now and then...I'm done bendin over...I've done physical work my whole life...don't wanna end up a cripple...now I wont even pick up change on the floor:giggle::giggle::giggle:;)
My back gave me a little trouble now and then. Then in June, I really messed it up. CT scan showed severe degenerative disc disease, bone on bone at L2-L4, scoliosis, sciatica, and some other stuff I can’t remember. I guess that’s why I’m barely 6’ tall instead of 6’1” anymore. PT guy said it’s only because I’ve stayed in shape that it wasn’t more of a problem earlier.

Can't out run the maturation process...thank God my issues are just muscular...(I've been lucky)...took a month to heal..then one sneeze and bam...I couldn't move....slowly exercising lower back muscles hope this helps...gettin old sucks...other than this pita..I'm healthy and feel great

I have two 2 ton aluminum jacks but changing wheels i use one and go around the car. Takes me less the 20 minutes to go from street to drag tires. Probably could knock off a little time using both on one side but fine using one
Next time you jack up the front, look at the back, it is almost off the ground. Couple pumps from the little jack and the entire side is up.

BTW: I need to correct what I said earlier, I use the puck on the front, and jack under the rubber bumper in back.

My compressor is on the pass side of the car so I need to throw the hose under to do the left, therefore it is much more convenient to do one side at a time.

Now that's some serious shit...I've got a few friends my age...athletic guys...HS and Collegiate sports...almost all..are facing bad knees..back...and hips...all limp in some way or another...so I get a few back spasms every so often...I'll live with it..

I noticed that but the time it takes isn't bad. I use a 4 way to break them loose and milwaukee m12 to get lug nuts on and off

Getting them off is quick, putting them on can be quick, or slow if you are like me and make sure all the lugs are seated and on center before significant torquing. Last thing I want is to have a porb at the track because I cut corners in the garage at home, track time is precious. Truck and Jeep? Hammer away with the impact! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, the OMM guy I saw has been practicing for like fifty years. (Ring doctor for Hearns Hagler fight, U.S. Olympic Hockey team doctor, local sports legend etc.)
Told me “I’ve seen worse spines, but not many.”

It's not currently painful. It just tires quickly. Trying to get back to what it was pre-June.

I have a very high tolerance for pain...but these back muscle spasms are unreal...to the point I cant move...I thought the doctor was crazy when he said it was muscular...thought I had a broken back:eek:

Changed the oil yesterday. This is my second change with the new 426, still a bit of metal but nothing crazy. Probably the last one of the season I expect before she goes away for the occasional warmer day this winter. Still got some cruising left to do in October though and she's running great!

Launch control? Track looks like it was sticking nice. Good work.
I'm never using that stupid launch control again!!! Every time I try to use it the car surges and gives a false start!!! I started just pedaling it. I was maybe 1000rpm on that run, no spin. If I had more time I think I might have been able to shave another .02 off, maybe.

I lost over an hour. Chiller would give a "Not Available At This Time" pop-up. Took a while to get it straightened out.

Yep. I think I learned not to use mine anymore either :ROFLMAO: I’ll plan for an April track rental and get back out there in the early good air. Just wanted to avoid breaking my car three times in the same calendar year :cautious:

Yeah, wives have trouble understanding things like that!!! :ROFLMAO:

I have suggested you try footing it. The launch is not designed for your HP.

Tech said next year I need to have the pass seat in place. I think that means this season is my last chance at getting the best out of the car. I figured this would be my season finale, but hearing that, I might give it one more try. Maybe remove the rear seat belts. Not sure what else to do.

I would appreciate suggestions from the knowledgeable. Getting into the 9's would be very cool in a Stage 2, but I am afraid that might be a bridge too far.

Never had them before....hard to believe a muscle (spasm)...can incapacitate one to that degree

It could have had a lot more bling if the sun was out. We drove to Red Wing just to dodge some rain showers yesterday. Damn this car runs good…
