Got my LED sidemarkers on, shortened endlinks and bmr trailing arms. Got my radials on and tazer on with buttons for line lock, cooldown, and custom drive mode short cut.

After the mods were installed I drove home on OE 11" wide wheels w/ 305/35 R888R square set up. It felt killer! They got a test on an exit ramp or two, I was fairly impressed at the lack of lean and precise feel of the steering wheel. I drove maybe five miles on the track set, with the good brakes but it is too cold for the Cup 2's to have fun. Did it Friday, it was a little warmer, but still not good.

Now this week with 60's expected with the set on the floor, there may be a couple of roundabouts that are going to see some action. Also I bet I may make an assessment of the lack of wheel hop or not I also have a hot tank of gas with additive I was going to use. I am going to have some fun on my "essential" trips, weather permitting, screw it!

I’m going with it being essential to road test the essentials on your REWB on essential trips to an essential job!

Front camera install. Bullet camera in lower grille. Monitor in the overhead console flip-down sunglass case. Wireless with the camera transmitter under the hood to the monitor receiver tucked up behind the overhead console. Plus: Better than the non-existent factory camera option. Minus: Camera is not a true “fisheye” lens, only 170 degree field of view, so camera has to be pointed off to the side to catch both the centerline of the splitter and the part in front of the passenger side tire (for angled parking), which makes the view a bit awkward until you are used to it.

I did/would, but, at least what I was able to read up on, solutions to enable a signal to show up on it (as the back up camera does) were pretty cumbersome, with many descriptions of people just giving up, since the Uconnect is locked down pretty well. But, if someone were willing to post a simple, proven, tutorial I could follow......

Made the switch to the purple stuff. HPS Royal Purple. Have heard it does well in e85 applications.

I took mine to church or it took me to stay away from you crazy critters. Lots of money to be spent on accessories , that actually look very nice. When I get out of jail, financial, I will catch up. Nice stuff. Mine is getting a 3 foot paint finish that will never get out of the garage.

Roll out the sanitized red carpet, with 3 guys going to town on that ride, just like the old customer service days when we pulled into a gas station and said “fill it high test” for the younger ones here that typically meant something like 100 or 104 octane.

Unfortunately, the only people whom are going to ,make any $$ are the bankruptcy lawyers. Other than that, yes to get anything done on a service issue, this is the time. Just follow the hand sanitizer and free oil. Take both with ya. Cheap, cheap and cheaper stuff to be had. I am sure, just like in any business, the inventory will kill ya, so looking for that expensive cam, and or blower, not her, chillers. Will be priced right to the unfortunate profit margin of the small marketer. Buyers market. Why my car is in the shop now. If it was not for me, 2 vettes, 3 BMW's, and a few others. This performance shop would be out and all employees would be soaking toes in the sand. Not off the $$ line, but I am spending money. For a couple of reasons. Keep money moving, keep people employed, getting great pricing on parts and labor, and spend $$$ to just help/ I have more than I need so in need for persons, spend it. The car is coming out tomorrow and maybe back in 2 weeks when I find something else I don't need. Having a 2,000 sf town home gutted and rebuilt. It kinda needs some work but the workers need the funding's and they appreciate it. Have a new home in 6 more weeks and a 2.5 car garage for the Cat.
