You guys are more than welcome to come over and cleanse the car...

I would, but you would just go out and hit bugs... ...again...

Nope, couldn't if I wanted to.

It's too cold for bugs to be out and about now. Plus, the gas tank is all but empty.

You guys are more than welcome to come over and cleanse the car...and all the other ones if you feel like it.

And while you might have out-bugged me, our birds definitely out-shit yours. They were actually a large reason I sold the Trackhawk - those whitish splatters didn't really match the Velvet Red (Octane in Challenger speak). It was parked next to the tractor and got its share of raven deposits. View attachment 152766

Naturally the Trackhawk was debadged, too, but I couldn't resist adding one. After all, of all the Jeeps I've had, it was by far the most limited.

Mostly elk, deer, and coyote carcasses, is my guess.

IMG_0235.jpeg IMG_0236.jpeg IMG_0237.jpeg IMG_0238.jpeg Put the mojo on the old gal today. Gave it a Chemical Guys spray on treatment while it was on the Quick Jacks. Much easier for my tired old ass to do the lower 1/2 of the car with it up. Gave the leather the once over and on went the cover. I’ll try to get to the Roadrunner next weekend.

Oh, that was years ago.

As I recall it was a '20 that turned into a used VW diesel wagon, which was traded in on a VW Sportwagen within three days, which became a '21 Challenger GT AWD, then a '22 Audi Q5, and now a '23 GT AWD.

Hell, if I keep them too long they end up needing to be washed.

Quite a change in vehicles. You like the trackhawk?

Yes and no, but it was mostly my own fault that I didn't.

Obviously I knew that it wouldn't be as quick as the 'Cat since it weighed more, but after the break-in, the first 60-120 was a disappointment. Almost ran out of straight road - if you ask my passenger I did.

Another thing was that it revved way too high for my liking at speed, again being used to the 'Cat which just loafs along at low rpms at 100.

And being picky, I hated that the station button on the radio became inoperative when the gauges were up on the screen.

Probably its best feature was the glorious noises from the exhaust when it upshifted under acceleration, closely followed by that it blended in very well after being debadged.

Not completely sure why, but I just never became friends with that car. Much like I didn't with the '23 Durango version...but I really like the used V6 Durango I bought a while back. Bottom line, I think you're asking the wrong guy.

I doubt I've killed more than 100 bugs total with my 3 Cats since 2016...after every outing..spray bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide..(melts bugs..bugs are just protein) and a microfiber cloth...hit the bugs with spray..wait 60 seconds..wipe bugs clean..no rubbing..the stuff dissolves bugs...best bug remover on the planet

Appreciate the insight. Most people I talked to only had a trackhawk and couldn't compare it to a challemger.or charger hellcat.

Not to worry. I have "trained" the ravens to stay the hell away from my carport.

I'm fairly sure that if all I did was to go to local car shows and for coffee, while obeying the 35 mph speed limits that cities tend to have, there wouldn't be many bugs on mine either.

there is definitely a speed phenomenon I too have observed - go slow, no bugs, go like I drive my cars - lots 'o bugs
