I keep hearing the 3.09 is the best.
Well full weight stock power and a 2.62 gear with a 305/17 can 60' too
I have had so many 1.50x and keep trying to get a 1.4x.
Well this past Friday the little grey cat did it 3 times.
Full weight as in compressor and floor mats are even still in the car.

Lets goo! I can't wait to see more.
First run off the trailer and it ran a 10.49 so it was hopefully going to be a good day. On the 4th run I got my best 60' ever and my first sub 1.5.
I know many have done it and it's not a big deal. But my car isn't modded yet and the ones that have done it aren't stock. I even had to show a local Dodge tuner the compressor in the trunk, rear seat and the stock air box to show him nothing was done to it yet.😂

I'm jealous of your prep.
The last 2 weeks prep has been terrible. Well I heard it was better after I snapped my axle.
Last weekend they told me it was cold out that's why it was bad prep. It was in the 50s.
In your colder weather do you have to wait for a bunch of cars to go down to help the track or is it pretty much ready to go after they finish the prep?

My best 60 ft last year was a 1.55 this year with the 3.09 is a 1.54 so not any different. My best this weekend was 10.62@130 1.55 60 race weight 4590 lbs. You had a better DA at -290 we were around 500. Same day and track I bet you are still a little faster then me

Did you weigh your car this weekend?

I still think the 3.09 may be quicker. I'm really hoping to get a minus DA day to really compare to last year

I did not have to wait for cars to run down the track as this was a rental with proper radial prep. No cars without drag radials or slicks were aloud down that lane. Not that there were any there. When it gets colder on a normal tnt day that is the case though. Nick the owner does a great job of keeping the track in good shape.

I haven't come across one with gears that has had a quicker time than me on the same day.
No I didn't weight it as the scales were not open. Rarely are except for some events.

We have a kid that is pretty good at prep (track owners son) but he was gone the last 2 weekends and it has shown. The weekend before that my friend did a rental like what you had. There were less the 16 cars there. It was good for the fast cars only issue the DA was over 2000, above average temperature for the time of year. Still many had personal best because of prep and cooler then what it was most of the summer

Thanks. I was thinking it wasn't going to be possible as I was stuck in at 1.50x for the last two years.
I was more than a little surprised when I saw that 1.497. then backed it up 2 more times, so that made the day.:cool:

The track is worth the trip for sure. Oilburner, SRTDemon and HPIndy came down for the day and it's a 6 hour drive for them.

What was your 60 ft on your 10.37 pass? You were a tenth quicker but with less mph then this weekend
The three 10.37 passes had between 1.513 and 1.52 60'.
That day was much colder and I had 3 fill the pants runs early on. After hanging around for awhile the track came around.
The 60's were a little off because there was a little slip at launch.
For some reason I ran 10.40 then came around and hot lapped the car and it ran the 10.37.
that happened 3 times exactly the same that day. LOL
As I mentioned earlier I did not think the 1.4x was possible until this Friday.

I thought my issue of fueling was fixed but later in the day I could feel the car lay over at the shifts.
Saturday I logged the car and found the car is still going into cat overtemp.
The injectors were at 22ms at the top of third and 4th gear. It was not as bad as last year but still annoying.
So now I am waiting for a tune from Curt and we will see what we can manage with a little help.

The motor is still new so hopefully it picks up with more miles on it.
As it is there is just under 1000miles on the new motor.
