Nice runs for a day of testing and shake down. Work that 60' and watch the times drop. DA wasn't the best for you either.
@Speedy It definitely needs some more on the bottom end, it almost feels lazy getting out of the hole. I need to visit with @zhc on that and see if we can do something with the tune or if we need to up the boost.

Have not posted in a while….we locked the motor up on Nov 26th at a test and tune. I have not opened the motor yet to see what happened. It locked up when I got out of the throttle at the beams. Of course my tablet was dead and I did not log that run. I ended up purchasing a complete engine that is a 426 and is suppose to be good for 30psi and 1600rwhp. Old engine should be out next week and then get the new engine in and tuned.

Real curious what happened to the original 426.
@Speedy! the original motor was the stock 6.2 no upgrades. I have not pulled a head or the oil pan to check but I suspect a bent rod. No damage to the oil pan or block and all the intake valves look good, oil was not milked. I am going to pull the head when I get the engine back to my shop and will see what happened. We were about 18lbs of boost and making over 1000 at the rear wheel so I am pretty sure it bent a rod.

I pulled my motor in Nov. thinking I was pushing my luck, everything inside looks perfect.
now building a 411 using original block but of course held up on parts. :confused:

I really like those solid mounts but wonder what it would be like on the street.
@oilburner my car is probably 95% track use and rarely on the street except to have the state inspection done and when we do the cruise for the street car class races. I have not ran this motor mount setup before, once it is running and I have a chance to drive it I will post here how it feels. I also pulled all the power steering off and went with a manual rack and pinion and had a custom built tubular cradle made.

More progress, new cradle, manual steering and engine are installed. Still waiting on a few small parts to install the Magnuson and the new Sipple Built transmission. Got the cage set-in the car and will start the install today.

The new transmission and torque convertor were delivered and are ready to be installed.
