Anyone order one yet wondering if its actually available for purchase?

https://www.moparonlineparts.com/sku/p5160607aa.html
That is the 3.0L IHI from the hellephant with M.A.P sensors, 1050 injectors, 3.17" pulley, and 92mm T.B.

If you are actually after the 3.0L IHI from the D170 with M.A.P. sensors, 165 gph injectors, Fuel rail with alcohol sensor, 3.02 pulley, even larger throat then even the Hellephant has, and 105mm 5 bolt T.B. then you need to order it under the OEM part # 68645773AA from you dealer as it is not a D.C. performance part yet.

It comes as a complete kit with everything mentioned above including supercharger to head bolts and Intake gaskets.

Nope. Sold as a complete unit only.
You are able to by it in parts though which will most likely cost even more.

I just want to integrate that factory alcohol sensor into the earlier cars. Literally all I want this year.

Like I said they only service the supercharger as a complete unit or you may be able to buy all the needed parts of it individually and assemble it yourself.

However from what I see on the list of parts most of it is only serviced as a complete unit.

All you have to do is use your phone and call your local dealer like I do, or do you need someone else to do that for you because it is too complicated. lol

Below is the drawing and list that the dealer see's when he looks up the supercharger for the D170.

Price is $22,170 for the D170 SC and there’s only one available in the US atm. You can get the complete D170 engine for just a few grand more with SC on it. $27,675 for the complete engine and they are available

Right now the sensor is not a normally available service part.

It is on the fuel rail right where the nipple is that the fuel line from the tank gets slipped onto.

The dealer can, if it has to replace one on a D170, do a special request for it under warranty but only for a D170 which the dealer would need to give corpret a valid V.I.N. and also return the failed sensor to corpred so they can find out what went wrong with it.

After Decmember 31st, or sometime there after when production ends, more parts from the D170 supercharger and other parts from the rest of the car will become available by themselves.

Some parts may hit Direct Connection later and in some cases it will be for a lower price then if you bought the same parts through the dealer using the normal ordering method.

I know, I just never bothered mentioning that as the engine is restricted right now, at least here in Canada it is.

All I was doing here originally was letting GNBRETT know that the D.C. 3.0L was not the same one as the D170's.

Keep in mind that D.C. shows the D170 engine as a C170 crate engine under part # 68660541AA but it also states "Q1 24CY Availability" so you can't get it yet but this does prove what I said about waiting for the D170 parts to show up on D.C. as it will most likely be cheaper to buy.

You could ask Satera what alcohol sensor he uses for his flex tune builds.

Jeremy has cracked the ECU no one else has done that. Its a true Flex tune. Apples to oranges to whats going on normnally when this platform is flex tuned. If it was as simply a sensor everyone would be doing this already.

It seems you still do not understand some of the changes that were made on the D170 3.0L compared to the Hellephant 3.0L even though I have mentioned them on here a couple of times.

You say you don't need the injectors, that's a valid statement. However you also said you don't need the T.B. That presents a problem with your choice for the D170 3.0L as when they made the snout larger on the D170 3.0L compared to the H 3.0L, since they also made it with a five bolt attachment face for the new OEM 105mm T.B. instead of only four bolts. It will not accept the standard four bolt T.B.'s that everyone makes for us right now unless you had a custom adapter plate made for it.

So really you would be better off to get it with the OEM T.B. Plus, you also want the flex fuel sensor so you would need the fuel rails as well even though you would need to do some programing and maybe other changes to make it work properly like it does on the D170.

What I would do in your case is just buy the Hellephant 3.0L instead and then add the stuff you want to it or wait until the D170 3.0L shows up in Direct Connection catalog, and buy it then, because I have a feeling that it will be much cheaper at that point then what it is pricing out at the dealer right now.

You can always sell the injectors if you don't need them. Hopefully they didn't change anything drastic on the injectors with their design which I have no info on yet besides them being able to supply 165 gph.

You replied to this twice for some reason, but I appreciate the info.

Can you get someone to post the stock calibration for HPtuners?
