‘65’s and later (like that one) were perfectly fine. SCCA racers put HD shocks and racing tires on them and killed a lot of Porsches of that time. Early ones had swing axles that could tuck under in a turn. Still funny, though.

I think it'd be cool to take one of these to Land Speed Trials, but not this one, it's only a 110. I'd be fun to find out at what speed it becomes "unsafe".

Still trying to figure this shit out:

Scanned it, cleared it, light still stays on, then code returns. I videoed both valves cycling at start up as well so they are connected, no wiring issues it seems. Still getting that damn code though. I made certain springs are properly engaging valves as well. I wonder if there is a way to reinstall the valves in an incorrect position, open or closed. Didn't seem likely though. Battery only a yr old and car stays on battery tender as well. I just ordered the zauto plug in exhaust modules. Hope they clear it.

Got my insu renewal yesterday, I expected a shock. Better than expected, HC's are lower than last year (which was an significant increase) and less than $300 more than the Jeep and F150. Seems reasonable. Never happy to pay for insu but almost deserves a , almost.

Maybe one of the benefits of being old...

But today I was following a MassHole doing 50 in a 55 zone. When I had a passing zone I leaned on it a bit an looked at the speedo when I went by, 95. No f'king way I'm EVER selling the car!

Took a 4 hour round trip to my buddies for his birthday yesterday. Managed to stay off the floor "enough" to eek around 17 MPG...not bad at all for over 1000 HP. Oh, and I rolled over 16k miles finally, although that really only applies to the brakes, axles, driveshaft and body
