I assume the power chiller won't work before 500 miles? I hear the condenser fan run but the Temp is not going down.
I have the fun task of a Dealer visit. Yuck. It's hard of starting. Cranks a long time before it starts. It's worse the longer it sits. I doubt this will fix it's self.......
Power chiller will only work in track mode, or at least when the transmission is in track mode on a custom drive set up. At least I think...its been a while since I've been able to use mine - or at least tried to.
What do you mean it turns over a lot? Hopefully she just wants some good gas and some miles.

Definately a fuel or igniton problem. Most likely a fuel problem. Failure of the fuel pumps to pre prime and lack of pressure AND OR the fuel system check valves are not holding pressure. It will crank crank crank and then sputter and sputter and then it will finally start. If you turn it off and restart right away it starts normal.
Sounds like a batch of weak gas. Once you get a little heat in the chamber (i.e. after it finally starts) it's easier to light off. But a weak spark could also react like that. Hope this gets resolved quickly and easily without a lot of hard parts (if any) having to be changed. Did she drive home fine?
