This post left me scratching my head. Because I always thought the Pass side was not functional. The back side or the downstream of the grill in my Pass side scoop is totally open to the area behind. There is theoretically a way for the air to get to the other side through the sandwiched layers of metal. A quick check with a flashlight shows some expanding foam sealing this area. So on my car, the air from the Pass side could not reach the airbox. I hope this is what you were asking.....[/QUOTE

Here is a picture of the baffle between the 2 snorkelson my RE..... so you say this baffle is totally closed on your Redeye?
Thanks! 20190828_210107.jpg

One less thing to worry about when loading it in the trailer. I *always* forget to fold the mirrors up on mine until I get close to the door cables.

I'm sure you weighed the mirror. What's the real weight savings?

I was hoping you were going to keep it stock with just wheel and tire swap to get some runs in before the mods. Would have been nice to see what you car ran with just drag pack and everything else 100% stock. Why the SW mids ?Are you planing on tuning the car and running race gas? Is the Demon H.O button on it's way?;):D

I have been honest about not wanting to get involved with tuning. I really have no interest in it at this point and I doubt I ever will.

I did not wait on some of the weight reduction mods simply because I like having something to do and I figure it might just make my drivetrain slightly more reliable. But if someone has a mustang they could say my car is a 14 second car with the seats in it.

Most people do not know what the mids are worth. They just throw them on there as part of a pulley and tune Pkg. Now that is one thing I am going to wait on until I get some passes on the car. I want to see how it hooks at Irwindale on the 315's before I take that leap. In fact I had a brand new set sitting here for quite a while to put on the Demon and I never did. I sold them brand new in the box never opened. Those were JBA. I think if I ever do use them on this car it will be when it goes in the trailer for a 3 week 5 track trip to the midwest or TX etc. It sucks they just cancelled HemiFest for this year.' I really thought they would have it but how do you pit every other space with 800 cars? Damn I want that Ice Cream !
I wonder what the weight savings is in the cat delete JBA mid pipes? I thought the increase in sound would be worth it, because I thought that there was little to gain in performance by changing them out on a relatively stock set up? What are your thoughts?

Another nugget of info. I found that the REAR bumper support on my car is extruded aluminum. Not sure if they have always been this way or if this is something new? The front is still Steel though. I checked.
It is on 2016 so I would guess they all are.

I can easily see the pad. But I do not see a PN on there. So, yes RedEyes have them.
There is no part number or picture according.

To the parts department at my dealership.

They called Chrysler. They don't see anything either

For the Demon using my vin#

My pad is not in same place

Is kind of rolled up toward the back.

MAYBE still doing its job.

But would like to replace it with new.

That is an assembly line part. It does not come up when I look it up. In fact it pretty much looks like a feminine hygiene pad. So you will need to look for some foam sheet or under the bathroom sink for that one.
That's what I told the parts guy.

It looks like a maxi pad.
